Questions

How will the USPS going out of business affect the average American like me?

If the USPS goes out of business we will all be affected, the question really is how much. It will lessen the amount of online shopping and help out local stores, such as best buy. But shipping will end up being way more expensive and one a United States land mark will have gone out of the window.

What is the fastest method of shipping for my online purchases?

It appears to me that USPS is actually one of the slowest methods of shipping. UPS, FED EX, and DHL all have faster shipping methods, especially internationally.

If the USPS disappears how are we going to receive mail?

If the USPS goes under more than 600,000 jobs will be lost. We will also lose the method of how our mail is shipped. So if the company is not ever bailed out by the government because of the high cost of shipping most likely another would have to take over somehow. The only way to know how much this would effect all of us is if it really happens. Hopefully, appealing in front of congress will help and we can keep the USPS in business.
