Read "Reaching Minds" by Karen Pryor.
Write Finish your poem trying to relate your topic genuinely to your life. Feel free to go in new directions and to incorporate your poem into your essay later on.
Continue to Research Find at least one Academic source that either interprets your topic in interesting ways or spends some time reflecting on your topic. I'd suggest using Jstor or another catalogue of Academic Journals.
Post a precis of the article on the blog before class Thursday and be sure to use each form of in text citation and to summarize, paraphrase, and quote.
