Read The example PAAs "Copper and Green" and "Advancement or Regression" and skim the EW 166-197. If you didn't finish it yet, skim the CW 449-483 and the EW 149-165 (this will probably be the most helpful reading you look at all semester in these books, so be sure and do it!).
Write a list of follow up questions to your focusing question. Think of this like an interview you're conducting with the world. Be sure to stick to a similar topic.
Research based on your focusing questions. Start with wikipedia or google scholar, and as you go keep track of what you find out like you would if you were transcribing an interview (or like you did in the previous homework). If it'd be helpful, conduct an interview with someone knowledgeable about the topic (refer to the EW 166 for strategies). Type the question and then a blurb of a paragraph or so on what you discover. Be sure and copy down the url for any site you visit, and the pertinent info to cite any other kinds of sources you use.
Post a list of 5 questions and responses to the blog by Sunday at midnight, and don't forget to put a jump break after the first. Again, the format should look like this:

Comment on your partners lists suggesting 2 new follow up questions for further research before class Tuesday.
