Dayle's 03/29 HW

In the article “ UN concerned with China restrictions on Tibet” written by Jamie Reese, he talks about increasing tension between the Chinese Government and the Tibetan region. This article gives insight in to many new restrictions that have been placed on Tibet. Reese states that “forces include officers in riot gear, soldiers with automatic rifles, trucks with armed personnel on the streets to the monastery, security raids, surveillance within monasteries and police presence both inside and outside of the monasteries to monitor religious activities” (3).
