What makes fast food so good?
Fast food is so good because as humans we are
naturally made to enjoy the taste of fat. Also, the chemicals that are put in
fast food are there to make the food taste better.
·
Studies have been conducted on animals and
humans and it is shown that since fast food contains high levels of sugar, fat
and salt, the body naturally craves it more. But, addiction is a complex thing
and has many other factors that play into it, so we can’t say that fast food
alone is addicting. Many people are able to eat fast food occasionally with no side
effects, so it’s just a matter of moderation.

Annaleigh,
ReplyDeleteThis is looking pretty broad still. Try and narrow down to a place and fit your own experience into the line of questioning.
One question to ask could be to find out what the historical rates for obesity have been and see if there is a correlation (or causation) between the consumption of fast food and obesity.
ReplyDeleteAnother could be to see if you can get some demographic data on who consumes fast food the most and the compare it to the rates of obesity in the same demographic.
