Writing 101 has really taught me a lot about what it will take to be a successful writer in college and the amount of work it will take. I have always been over critical of my first drafts and never just let myself sit down and let my words flow without the interference of my internal editor. I believe that the free writes we have done have allowed me to be able to just put down a bunch of my thoughts and  ideas in the early stages of drafting. This tool has really helped me get ideas for my essays.

            This course has really showed me how to incorporate research into my papers as I go. Before this class I really struggled with getting research into my essay. This class has certainly prepared me for my writing in college and has showed me the amount of work necessary for success at the collegiate level.
