- Conference: Be sure to sign up for a conference and show up. Bring a rough draft and something to take notes on.
- Write a rough draft of your research essay before conference. Get to at least 1000 words, have an arguable tentative thesis, a works cited with 3 citations, and an example of quotation, summarization, and paraphrase cited in text in your essay. Bring at least one copy to conference with questions for me.
- Revise: Your essay into a complete draft. Be sure that you incorporate a personal voice. 2000-3000 words with a clear argument backed up with researched evidence. Have at least 5 cited sources in your works cited. Post this on the blog before class Tuesday 4.17.
